FAQ
Frequently asked questions for Pet Photography in the Twin Cities area

What kind of Photography do you offer? I'm actually a full time studio photographer specializing in maternity, newborn and milestone portraits! However pets have always been a huge passion and focus of mine, so they have their very own website here! You can check out my human portrait work here www.jordanalisaphoto.com

What is your availability? I am a full time photographer, and my typical in-studio hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm. I am not in the studio on weekends, and only consider certain events on weekends due to my family's schedule. Please reach out with questions.

Do you travel for sessions? I do actually travel for certain types of sessions. One being sessions for vet clinics or special events, another being for breeders. Please reach out to me for pricing and availability for different situations.

What if my pet is a rescue and super timid? I have photographed literally thousands of rescue dogs - probably thousands of dogs the day they come into rescue. Many people that come to me do so because they can't capture great photos of their own pet, or are worried about how they will act in a studio situation. I have never had to refund and apologize to a client for not being able to capture GREAT photos.

What if my pet has behavioral issues? I understand that not all pets are made emotionally equally, and that some may have extreme anxiety, leash aggression, stranger danger, etc. While I need you to let me know honestly in advance what I'm dealing with as far as reactivity and safety, there is always a way to safely capture great photos of your pet.

I have a snake (tortoise, hedgehog, parrot, frog, mini horse, pig, etc) that I want photos of. Can you do that? Heck yes, I can! As long as you have any required licensure for owning and handling your animal, let's go!
